  Medina is an internationally acclaimed DJ\, producer\, recording artist\,
  poet\, journalist\, curator\, educator\, and cultural storyteller. His re
 lationship with music began in his family&rsquo\;s church and has evolved 
 into a singular career spanning clubs\, stages\, classrooms\, and cultural
  institutions worldwide.</p><p dir="ltr">Founder of&nbsp\;Jump-N-Funk\, No
 rth America&rsquo\;s original Fela Kuti tribute\, Medina helped establish 
 a blueprint for the global embrace of Afrobeat. His legendary&nbsp\;Lil Ri
 cky&rsquo\;s Rib Shack&nbsp\;and&nbsp\;HOME&nbsp\;residencies have become 
 touchstones of New York club culture. He has also served as artist-in-resi
 dence and Music Director at Dante&rsquo\;s HiFi+ in Miami.</p><p dir="ltr"
